The PeopleCert DevOps Fundamentals course enables understanding the basic DevOps terminology  and providing communication in organization thanks to using a shared set of terms. It emphasizes DevOps advantages for supporting the organization’s success.

The participants will gain knowledge about  DevOps, as a cultural and professional movement, which emphasizes communication, cooperation, integration and automation in order to improve workflow between software developers (Dev) and employees responsible for efficient operation of operational systems (Ops).

The course ends with International DevOps Fundamentals certificate exam , which not only confirms knowledge and skills, but also is a prerequisite for taking part in more advanced DevOps trainings (DevOps Leadership).

The participants receive vouchers, which are valid for 6 months, for online exam.

Having completed the training, the participant receives an e-mail with guidelines how to register on the exam. The date is determined directly with  PeopleCert, with the use of participant’s account.

Online exam is conducted in the presence of proctor – a person from PeopleCert, who connects remotely with training participant’s desktop and observes the course of exam via Internet camera.

The person who takes the exam is obliged to show the place where he is going to write the exam to proctor via Internet camera. Proctor checks if there are not any other persons and study aids in the room.

PeopleCert DevOps Foundamentals exam

  • Exam duration: 60 minutes.
  • Multichoice questions.
  • There are 40 questions
  • Candidates need to get 28 questions correct (70%) to pass the exam.
  • This is a ‘closed book’ exam.

Knowledge of IT terminology and experience in working in  IT.
Practical knowledge of solutions and management methodologies in  IT (for example: Project Management, Service Management)

A good command of English language at the level enabling at least written text comprehension. Training materials and exam are available only in English.
